• Content Moderation Data: When you upload photos or create a profile description, we use automated content moderation tools (including AWS Rekognition) to analyze your content for compliance with our Terms of Service. This analysis may include detection of explicit content, nudity, inappropriate poses, and verification that photos contain a person.
• Other Information: We may collect other information with your consent, such as feedback you provide or information you share through social media features.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Operate the App: We use your information to provide, operate, and maintain the App, including matching you with other users and facilitating communication.
• Content Moderation: We use automated content moderation tools, including AWS Rekognition (Amazon Web Services), to analyze and filter user-generated content (photos, descriptions, profile information) to ensure compliance with our Terms of Service and to prevent the sharing of inappropriate, explicit, or prohibited content. This includes:
• Detection of nudity and explicit sexual content in photos
• Verification that photos contain a person
• Detection of inappropriate poses or suggestive content
• Filtering of forbidden words, explicit language, or contact information in profile descriptions and names
• Personalize your experience: We use your information to personalize your experience, such as suggesting matches and displaying relevant content.
• Improve the App: We use your information to improve the App and develop new features.
• Safety and security: We use your information to ensure the safety and security of the App and our users, including detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and illegal activity.

3. Content Moderation and AWS Rekognition

To maintain a safe and appropriate environment for all users, Mampii uses automated content moderation technology, including AWS Rekognition (Amazon Web Services' artificial intelligence service), to analyze user-generated content.

• Photo Analysis: All photos uploaded by users (particularly female users) are automatically analyzed by AWS Rekognition to detect nudity, explicit sexual content, inappropriate poses, violence, and to verify that the photo contains a person.
• Text Analysis: Profile descriptions and names are automatically checked for forbidden words, explicit language, and contact information (phone numbers, email addresses).
• Data Processing: When you upload content, it is temporarily processed by AWS Rekognition for moderation purposes. The content is analyzed using machine learning algorithms, and moderation results (approved/rejected with reasons) are stored in our systems.
• Rejected Content: If your content is rejected by our moderation system, you will be notified with the reason for rejection. Rejected content is not stored or used for any other purpose.

4. Sharing Your Information

• Third-party service providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who help us operate the App, such as:
• Amazon Web Services (AWS Rekognition): For automated content moderation of photos and text
• Cloud storage providers: For storing your data securely
• Payment processors: For processing payments (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Mobile Money providers)
• Analytics providers: For understanding how users interact with the App
• We require these providers to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we authorize.
